How many jobs should I apply to? I'm starting to get really tired of rejection. I've applied to about 12 jobs and haven't heard anything.

ANSWER:

I know the application process can get both tiring and frustrating. It is a full-time job to find a job. You have to keep trying until you get one.

In addition to applying for jobs, you should really get out there and network with as many people as possible.GSPM's alumni office can help to connect you with someGSPM alums you might want to connect with. Additionally, make sure to have your LinkedIn account up-to-date as many employers are avoiding postings now and going straight to candidates directly. Up until really recently, employers were not using Facebook as a way to hire people (they were only looking at candidates to try to find negative pictures). But now, they are using Facebook to reach out to candidates as well. Maybe take a break for one day to get re-energized and then go out there again with these additional approaches. Good luck!
