The Graduate School of Political Management is proud and excited to announce our partnership with 80 Million Strong for Young American Jobs, a coalition featuring over 20 of the nation’s leading youth organizations. Young people across the country have been disproportionately affected by the recession; facing an unemployment rate almost double the national average, acquiring exponential credit card debt, and incurring costly student loans. We’ve joined this coalition because we know these are the issues you face everyday and we’re committed to change.
To solve these problems, The Graduate School of Political Management and 80 Million Strong are bringing young Americans together to identify innovative and creative solutions to our economic crisis. As a first step, the coalition will convene a summit of over 100 young people in Washington, D.C. to develop legislative proposals that will create sustainable employment opportunities, tailored to the strengths of the Millennial generation. In addition to the summit, 80 Million Strong is building a grassroots network of young people committed to solving these issues. With this grassroots organization, we can drastically improve our economic future.
The Graduate School of Political Management is committed to helping 80 Million Strong in a number of ways, including helping them find design and tech volunteers with experience using Drupal, SalesForce, Flash, and other similar programs. If you are interested in volunteering in that capacity, then please contact them at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
