Due to recent changes to the GRE general test, institutions will experience a delay in receiving scores for tests taken October and November. As a result, we will give applicants the opportunity to be considered for admission prior to receipt of official scores from ETS. If you are registered to take the GRE after October 16, 2011, you have the option to go forward to the admissions committee for review without GRE scores. In order to do this, you must submit all other required application materials, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher (as calculated by the Admissions office), and submit proof of GRE test registration.
If admitted, your admission will be under Conditional status. Conditional admission means that you will be able to register for the first semester of coursework, but will not be able to register for subsequent semesters without meeting the condition of your admission, which in this case would be receipt of official, acceptable GRE scores. Please note that if official scores are below the required minimum of the 30thpercentile in each section, your offer of admission may become Provisional or, in rare cases, may be withdrawn. Provisional admission will require you to register for and complete at least six and at most nine graduate credits in your first semester and earn grades of B or better in each; no other grades, including I (Incomplete), W (Authorized Withdrawal) or Z (Unauthorized Withdrawal), are acceptable. Failure to meet these conditions will result in the termination of your degree candidacy at the end of your first semester.

Please note that applicants with three or more years of substantive, professional full-time work experience can apply to waive the GRE requirement.
