Dozens of exciting speakers came to the 80 Million Strong for Young American Jobs summit this Tuesday and Wednesday on Capitol Hill. One of the most inspiring was former Senate Leader Tom Daschle.
He spoke to the group of 150 young people for about 30 minutes. During the Q&A, the first question was about how young people should be involved in politics beyond voting. Here is what he said:
