Mark Penn, an influential politico who has been dubbed the "king of polling," announced his plans to gift a portion of his personal collection of polls to establish the Society of Presidential Pollsters within GW's Graduate School of Political Management.

NEW YORK - Frank Ovaitt has joined Makovsky + Company as Executive Vice President, leading the firm's efforts to integrate research into public relations practice.
"I'm incredibly impressed with Frank's philosophy that too many professionals view research and measurement as a report card when it's really a GPS to guide the journey and suggest better ways," said President and CEO Ken Makovsky. "I know of no one better than Frank to help clients figure out how to use research more effectively in today's digital environment." |
